Black and white photo of the fare restaurant of Hana Iti with water lilies.

The disappeared luxury hotel of Hana Iti, destroyed by a cyclone in Huahine in French Polynesia. View overlooking the lagoon and the Pacific from the richly decorated reception desk of precious woods; photographs of fare perched on top of trees;
giant shells, water lilies; waterfalls; exotic woods; nothing was too precious for that pearl of Pacific. Detail of a fare on the edge of the lagoon, rich fabrics cover the sofa in the lounge, everything was "luxury, calm and voluptuousness".

Cyclone, you undid the work of men and erased our tracks, memories remain even if Hana Iti does not exist anymore. Its natural luxury marked the mind of the photographer, he remembers the precious wood and the ornamentation of these fare perched on the tops of trees.

The black and white photographs of this mythical place are an ode to beauty and pleasure of the eyes. On unique prints in only three 100cmx150cm copies, the canvases expose the voluptuousness formerly offered by this hotel. These rare images describe the radiance of the place. Waterfalls and exotic woods marry the curves of Huahine. Time has no meaning, we live a moment of eternity.

From bath we admire this ocean full of History; the men have found an Eden in Huahine... The artist has found the inspiration. The water lilies open out to attract his look, but he can only see this majestic forest, witness of so many stories and legends. Captivated, he lets his lens take a multitude of photographs.

He enters his Fare, the mirror reflects, the water slips quietly from a shell. A few steps separate him from his bed, the light engulfs the Fare, and he does not know yet that tomorrow everything will be gone.
