Black and white photo of a series of chairs at the airport of Lyon-Saint Exupery.

In this gallery, no theme, these are pictures taken a day like any other, always in black and white at the mercy of the chance, lights and places... A bird's eye view of stairs like a whirlwind in the palace Georges V in Paris; a portrait of my master reading, in the reflection of a commode in a palace again, but in Monaco: the Hermitage;
harmony of shapes and contrasts, gloomy sunset over the Closerie des Lilas; the glass roof of the Gare de Lyon on a background of clouds; chairs at the airport of Lyon-Saint-Exupéry; the shop window of a butcher in Paris... These photographs have been made only thanks to a decisive instinct.

The artist walks to chance, his camera in hand, he says it’s a day like any other, a day where it is good to stroll; every detail has suddenly a bigger importance. Yesterday an ordinary stairway turns into a tunnel that takes us elsewhere. A snapshot in Black and White which makes us slide into another world. The Palace George V has many treasures, but the photographer's eye remains fixed on this vortex in perspective. Not far from the exit, a man waits, he has a white scarf and a hat from another time, he is reminiscent of gangster movies, and it’s certainly because of the Black and White.

Another day, good fortune, Lyon and its stairs of light, the whiteness dresses the shadow while April moves on. A few years later a man sits at the edge of a cargo plane, the track smells bitumen; Orly and its ballet of aircraft. We remember Satolas and this chain of empty and arranged chairs, we wait leaning like others on a guardrail, eyes staring at the horizon. June 1990, Paris, a bottle of red wine and neon light in a shop window, it shines in the darkness and we get acquainted the Carcass.

August already and the Closerie des Lilas shines under the summer sky, roofs like a castle lean on the clouds and the diffuse light fills us. We remember Monaco, this bedroom where the photographer had resided for a while, this white commode and that mirror that reflects the sight. We look more closely and Istanbul appears, in April 2006. Seats and men appear, shaggy beard and intense look, now photography gives way to the composition.

A sensitive luxury in black and white pictures, ephemeral moments at the mercy of instinct, uniqueness is an art.
