The city of light stretches out his arms and embraces the Louvre, it has seen the centuries, unchanged and majestic... Paris immortalizes the image. Mosaic of Paris in Black and White and in Light, Paris has to be discovered in the glow of the evening and now it lifts the veil, Paris in White and Black.

Joel Vogt revisits the Capital, he paints it, and he draws it in the light. On a picture the Jardin des Tuileries, quiet and serenity, an artist with a brush in the hand enjoys the panorama and the brightness of the day. In the shadow of a beautiful tree stands an imperturbable statue. The sun goes through the foliage; scattered images appear beyond the gloom. The artist composes his shootings on the Place de la Concorde and he listens to the echo coming out of the National Assembly.

Tour Eiffel and Arc de Triomphe, immortal monuments of art. If we could get them into the Louvre we wouldn't let them get out... The Cour Napoléon stretches at the feet of this unique museum, the horses gallop and the glass walls of Leoh Ming Pei reflect the time on multiple photographs displayed on 100cmx160cm canvas.

The Black and White is emphasized in a harmonious photographic composition; a game with a variable geometry, squares and rectangles rub elbows with the Obelisk, the water and the Fountains. Our photographer follows the path made by the lampposts in search of light, of beautiful. Paris, a marvellous mosaic...
