This is the incredible saga of two young children, who come back over the years to add shot by shot a page of the story in this photographic book. An evolution written in the time and transcribed in the middle of the studio of Joel Vogt, who crystallizes their appearance every year in the same light conditions and always on the same chair.

These portraits illustrate a quest for perfection, a deepening of the technique but they demonstrate above all the superiority of Black and White in the immersion in the past. A perpetual new beginning in line with the duration, a visual adventure shared with the whole family. These two brothers have come every year since they were six months old, each time in June, to write a new mark on the tree of ages. When they will be older they will certainly discover those amazing memories with delight.

The story will be transcribed until their twenty years old; they are twelve and six years old at the time of writing. With Polaroid 55 4x5 Inch, the shootings contrast in Black and White and bear the flag of the evolution of Men.

This kind of experimentation and repetition makes us, observers, be more attentive to the evolution of the work of the artist. He is constantly looking for innovating and refining his style to approach this so coveted visual perfection. He keeps analyzing his own creations to learn, to reiterate the exploit and enhance every time the rendering quality: A work of goldsmith, which undoubtedly won't leave you indifferent.
